Located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Kokura Meigaza, 'Fundoshi BAR Nidaime Katana Kokura' is a unique members-only bar themed around the 'fundoshi' (traditional Japanese loincloth). As a Kokura branch of a group that also operates in Tokyo and Osaka, it is open on specific dates. Inside, the staff wears fundoshi, and the bar features a style where customers can also wear them to enjoy their time. Assistance with tying fundoshi is available for a fee, and both rokushaku-fundoshi and pant-style fundoshi are sold on-site. The all-you-can-drink menu is extensive, and options to include beer and other alcoholic beverages are available. Regarding house rules, Fridays and Saturdays are 'Fundoshi Nights,' where a dress code requires everyone to wear a fundoshi. On Sundays, entry is permitted in other types of underwear.
